High Load Capacity
Planetary roller screws adopt line contact structure. The enlarged contact surface greatly boosts load capacity and rigidity. They feature superior stiffness and load bearing performance, with load capacity over 3 times that of ball screw assemblies of the same specification (up to more than 10 times at maximum).
Shock Resistance
They possess excellent capacity to withstand impact loads and deliver stable, reliable operation.
Compact Size
Under equivalent load conditions, planetary roller screws occupy one-third less space than ball screws.
High Speed Performance
The maximum linear speed reaches 2000 mm/s, and the input rotational speed can hit 5000 rpm or above. The maximum acceleration is up to 3g.
Low Noise
Free from DN value restrictions imposed by reversing mechanisms, they support high-speed operation even with tiny leads.
DN ≥ 140,000, maximum linear velocity ≥ 60 m/min, angular acceleration up to 7000 r/s². Low vibration and low noise are achieved during operation.
High Precision
The screw shaft features non-circular threads with a small lead angle, which facilitates outstanding lead accuracy and enables precise micro-feeding.
Lead accuracy grade P1: ±0.006 mm;
Lead accuracy grade P5: ±0.023 mm (within 300 mm travel).
Long Service Life
According to the Hertz pressure theory, the static load capacity of a planetary roller screw is 3 times that of a ball screw, and its service life is 15 times longer.
The integrated nut assembly can be easily detached from the screw shaft without falling-off of rolling elements and associated components, simplifying installation and maintenance.
It demonstrates strong adaptability to harsh working environments, including low temperatures, dust, chemical deposits, and insufficient lubrication conditions.
